We have our Fire Works Booth at Watt and Elk Horn again this year. We will be near the Auto Zone. This is our 3rd year here and we are building a great clientele. We need volunteers to help run the booth. This is a big money maker for us. We need all the help we can get. If you cannot work a shift maybe you can refer customers to us. There is more than one way to help.

New York Life, The Ladies of AT&T and VFW Post 4647 are sponsoring the 10th annual charity golf tournament at River Oaks course on September 27th, 2009.

Golf Tournament
New York Life, The Ladies of AT&T and VFW Post 4647 are sponsoring the 10th annual charity golf tournament at River Oaks course on September 27th, 2009.
Great prizes, including a $10,000.00 hole-in-one, closest to the pin and the longest drive, as well as raffle and door prizes.
Entry fee is $85.00 per player, $340.00 per team. A full team is not required. Entry fee includes golf, cart and a steak dinner at the post.
Tournament is a scramble format with a shotgun start at 7:30 am. Check in time is 6:45 am. Play is open to member’s guests and to the public.
All proceeds from the event benefit the holiday food basket program & Women of AT&T Community Outreach: ACS Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and our Annual Expanding Your Horizons Event.

VFW Post 4647 is hosting a Vendor and Craft Fair on Saturday September 12, 2009 from 10 am to 4pm.
We will have every kind of vendor you can think of (or at least that is our goal). We already have vendors reserving tables. We are serving lunch for a nominal fee and we will have a raffle. Raffle will take place throughout the day and you do not have to be present to win.

There is a fee for renting a table and we are requesting that each vendor donate a raffle prize. Advertising will come in the form of fliers and an article in the North Sac News.
