I am a member of the Air National Guard that completed a six month tour in Saudi Arabia in May, for which I received the GWOT Expeditionary medal. I live in Rocklin, but am having a hard time locating a VFW post either here or in Roseville. I searched on the website but only found po boxes and a website that’s not operational. Is there a post close to me? Also, does the VW assist with job placement? I’ve been looking for work since I got back with no luck. Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Threads For Vets Campaign 2008 is a project I’m working on to assist the Sacramento Stand Down Association for the 2008 Sacramento Stand Down for our homeless Veterans. We are collecting new or nearly new jeans for distribution at the Stand Down. The goal is to collect 500 jeans by the end of August. Is there someone who I can send the flyer to who would be able to share with your membership? Thank you for any help you can provide.
