Blah

Posted by chrystibella on December 5, 2008

It feels like I have been sick for months. I just begin to get over this cold and then it hits me somewhere else.

Just before thanksgiving I went to the doctor and was told I had an ear infection. So I was put on antibiotics. I think I had about 3 days of being able to breathe and feeling better then, boom! It moved to my chest.

Yesterday I was coughing so hard my head felt like it would burst. I kept coughing up fluid as if I were vomiting but it was only saliva coming from my lungs. SCARY! I had fever and chills.

I feel like that lady on “Four Christmases” who says, “I pee a little bit when I cough.” Well!

Hubby went to the store and stocked up on Mucinex and orange juice. I emailed my doctor (love Kaiser!) He said to double up on my claritin and continue Mucinex and fluids for a few days and come in if it continues.

My whole body hurts when I cough.

I have a party to attend on Sunday and we’re supposed to exchange a gift that is not new. Something bought from a thrift store for less than $10. Wouldn’t you know I’d pick the most difficult person to buy for. I have been racking my brain trying to come up with an idea. No luck. So this Saturday (last minute of course) I’ll be out looking at the thrift store and hoping that the Universe will lead me to something perfect for her. It’s not like I haven’t tried. This has been on my mind, haunting me since we drew names back in October. I wanted to find something really special for her but it’s come to this. =)

I also have to get the BJ (Newsletter) to the printers by Monday and I’m procrastinating. It’s 8 pages and most of the time I have to re-write the articles to fix grammar and spelling. I haven’t even picked up the calendar yet. I wasn’t at the calendar meeting because I was SICK! I’m so behind. Monday is my deadline, nobody will care but me. I just like to get it finished early in the month of December so that it gets printed and distributed before the first of the new year. Now we are going into week two of December and I’m panicking.
