VA loans are made by private lenders such as banks, mortgage companies and savings and loan associations. They are not made through the Veterans Administration as I have found some veterans to believe.   Also, some of the lenders who advertise through the veterans websites are just lead companies who gather email addresses and sell prospects to local lenders who pay for leads when someone requests information about a VA loan.

Find a local lender or shop around for a company in your area where you can go into their office and meet face to face.  Most people want to do business with someone they feel comfortable with.  Does this person have a website or blog that allows you to get to know them a bit before you decide to call them?

My websites will never try to harvest your information and you will never be emailed by me unless you ask and I promise you won’t get an unwanted phone call from me in the middle of your dinner.   I believe in building my business by building relationships.  Most of my referrals come from friends, past clients and my association with my comrades and sisters through the VFW in my community.

ANY program available to insure a better quality of life for our veterans is very dear to my heart. When they sign up, they give all, blood, sweat and tears in honor and pride and sacrifice for our country.  Such courage deserves respect, compassion, kindness and care.  That is the least we can do to thank them for the price they pay to insure our freedom.

With a VA home loan a qualified veteran is able to get into a home with no down payment and the seller is allowed to pay closing costs.
